The 1 hour bag {and a giveaway}

 Forever ago I was contacted by the sweet little shop Lollipops and notions. They sent me the pattern and fabric for the 1 hour bag, to try out. I have to say, clearly I sew a lot, but I have never done a zippered bag. I know right? It's weird. Zippers and I have a love hate relationship sometimes they are perfect and they go in easily and sometimes it looks like a home-ec project bombed. However, it was time, and I am glad I made this bag. It turned out super cute and the zipper was perfect (so it was the love side of a love hate)
 The pattern was fairly easy to follow. I did a few things in the way it made sense to me when I was a little confused, but it turned out beautifully so I was really pleased. I love the ruffled strip down the middle. You can easily embellish the bag any way you want, I really liked the buttons in the example bag photo so I added a nice little pop of color.
 So what is one to do with a cute little bag? Well since I have more makeup bags than I have makeup (I know it's a problem but they are usually free :) This little bag got claimed by Abbey to hold her markers. It was a perfect fit.
 Despite her "glum" look she was quite pleased with her new bag.
 The perfect small size for her little hands to handle and her markers to be safe and sound, and now they travel well.
 She especially loves the zipper.
The best news? Lollipops and Notions sent an extra pattern (with fabric) to give away to one of you.

So if you would like to get your hands on the cute little 1 hour bag pattern all you have to do is leave a comment. Tell me what you would use your bag for.

Please leave your email address so I can contact you if you win.

Giveaway will end Friday the 23rd. The winner will be announced on Saturday.

So good luck!

Oh and if you don't trust your luck and NEED to have the pattern right now, check out Lollipops and Notions to get your hands on your very own copy.
